United States, New York 1935 Brass Token – Green River Whiskey

United States, New York 1935 Brass Token – Green River Whiskey, Oldetyme Distillers, Inc. of New York City initially distributed Green River Whiskey tokens in the 1930s. The tokens were advertised in magazines for magicians, and thus are usually referred to as “Magic Tokens.” There are several different die varieties of the specimens with many artistic changes on the pieces, although the basic images and brand logos are essentially alike. Some of the pieces have the product stated in the singular (Green River Whiskey), and some in the plural (Green River Whiskies).
